"Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way...It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things." KENWLOCK1@comcast.net

About Me

My photo
calken
I have just turned 60, acquired a masters of arts in fine arts. I am now retired, and have lived all over the U.S. I am single, with no children. I am Vice-president of the Backlot Film Festival, held the first week in April of each year in Culver City, California. I also invested in a series of books and plays about the further adventures of Dorothy and the Land of Oz. One of plays is "In Dorothy's Garden". I wrote six songs for this play, which you can view in my blog. The books and plays will be published and produced within the next two years. Just before Christmas of 2007, I suffered the first of three strokes. They came as a real shock as I had been a strict vegetarian for forty years, exercised daily and generally led a healthy lifestyle. In July of 2007, after living in Los Angeles for twenty years as a medical practice consultant and worker's compensation paralegal, I moved back to Sonoma County in Northern California, the stomping grounds of my profligate youth. It was, and still is, one of the Eden's of the world. It is blessed with great weather and a stimulating intellectual climate that encourages creative and personal growth.
